I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS.  Recently the illuminated entry lights come on for only a second and then go off either by using fob or opening the door.  I checked all the bulbs and they are good.  All lights also come on with the dashboard switch for only a second and then go off.  Does anyone know where the illuminated entry timer is located.  On a 1992 Cad it was on the passenger side under the dash.  Not so for this car.  Appreciate any help.

Using the fob or just opening doors, interior lights come on for only a second.  Also using the light switch they will only come on for a second.  Is there an illuminated entry time module and where is it located?

I briefly looked at the Mitchell wiring diagram for you car and noticed that it all goes directly to the BCM..I don't even know if it has a timer. I will check again tomorrow at work though
