i have the problem with my alarm giving me false door triggers at random times. (On a 2003 Dodge Durango.) The 2 wires for the driver and passenger doors are diode isolated. I read here that I could have a PCM (or something) shutting down or pulsing the triggers. I tried hooking up a relay using the Windstar diagram found here, but I can't get it to work. When i connect the constant + 12v according to the diagram, it sparks and blows a fuse. What am I doing wrong? (I tried a power wire from the alarm and also one from the ignition)
I don't want to use the domelight wire, because of a delayed turn off. Is there something else that i could do like adding another diode to each wire or resistors?
Thanks,
Chris

Well, I tried a different relay and it's working so far.
Thanks anyway.
