I am in the process of installing an UltraStart manual transmission remote starter / alarm system in a 1996 toyota tercel.   There are two remaining wires from the 14 pin connector and I am clueless as to how to or where to connect them to. First is the orange starter kill & anti-grind output wire. I simply don't understand what to connect this to, particularly in this specific car. (There is no distributor in the 96 Tercel.)  The second wire I still need to connect is the blue and white tach detection input. Once again, I have no idea what this is or where it goes.  Suggestions or information on these problems would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

your orange antigrind wire will go to the key side of the starter wire. The remote start output from the unit will go to the starter side of the SAME wire.

You need to cut the starter wire to seperate the two.

As far as the tach goes...... look for a back/blue on the ignitor module on the drivers side inner firewall.
