viper 5900 remote acting up for 95 accord

ok, just made a quick trip to cvs. came out and tried to remote start my car. it tired to start but it didnt becase the battery connection came loose and the only thing powering it is the little backup battery. anyways, now when i lock my car it shows that its unlocked on the remote and makes the out of range beeping and vice versa. when i remote start my car it starts but doesnt show up on the remote and makes the out of range beeping again when im standing 2 ft away from the car. put a new battery in the remote so idk whats wrong?

unplug the antenna from the brain and remove the battery from the transmitter. then plug the antenna back in and replace the battery. after that they should be in sync.
