set 556u bypass to be on all the time

I have a 556U Immobilizer Bypass module and would like to set it up to always bypass the immobilizer in my '97 Acura RL. This way I can just use duplicate keys with out paying for the expensive "chipped" keys. I know it removes a security element, but I'm not too concerned. What do I have to hook up the blue wire, "remote start negative (-) status output", to make it think the remote start is always in use? Would this in any way cause a battery drain issue? Thanks for your help.

it would drain the battery. what you could do, is connect the blue wire to ground, then connect the red wire to an ignition wire, that way it only turns on when the ignition switch is turned on.

if your car sees that 2keys with same transponder keys, it may erase one of the keys to a blank state or even make your system lockout. heard of stoires but never experianced it myself.

thats true. its not gonna happen with a 97 acura though, so you should be ok.

It wouldn't happen, because the key he would be using everyday would be a non transponder key.

Just take the bloody chip (carefully) out of one of the keys, mount it above the plastic antenna ring (good quality adhesive please) after testing the position. If you have a plain key, remove the Honda badge, it should have a screw under it. N.B., I only had multiple chip problem with Fords and Mazdas.
