Anyone use one of the ADS AL CA in an 07 H3? I have the GM4 firmware flashed, and I am looking at the manual and it calls for IGN and ACC input wires from the vehicle. I am going to assume that I still need to connect the IGN and ACC wires from the remote starter to the vehicle, but no starter output connection is required. Does that sound right? I know this sounds very basic, but this manual does not have much detail. Is there anything unique I should know about with this bypass?
Thanks a lot.

as per staub:

"Vehicle cranks when accessory goes out during remote start. No connection to a starter wire is required."

that makes me think you have to put ignition to the acc wire. acc turns off during crank...

Thanks guys. I just got done with the install and it was really easy just as you said. I do have one issue though. The doors unlock when remote started, and they do not lock again until the remote starter shuts down. I can lock them manually of course, but you shouldn't have to do that. I tried programming the remote starter to lock after start, and it worked once, but the second time I remote started it locked out the passlock and I had to wait 10 minutes before the key would start the car. So I turned off the lock after start feature, and everything but that works fine. I wanted to try programming it again to see if the first time was a fluke, but I thought I would research it a little more before trying anything further. For now the guy will just lock his doors after he remote starts.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks again for the feedback.

I had the same problem when doing an 07 Canyon. (same wiring harness). I spoke with Idatalink and they swore up and down that this module was not supposed to unlock before start. I called B/S at the time but didn't pursue the issue as the customer was fine with lock after start. I have an 06 H3 to do but don't want to have this doorlock issue arise. I'll be contacting Idatalink before starting this one.

I guess we just have to hope they come up with a fix. Thanks for the reply.

OK, Noe the car won't start with the key. I told the guy to wait ten minutes and then the car should start with the key. What is going on here? Will resetting and re-programming help this? Any other suggestions?
