New problem on a 03 honda accord, Remote starter works, no issues at all except for the fact that I can not  unlock the doors when the remote starter has been activated using the buttons on the car's key. Talking to Honda they say that I should be able to do this. Remote starter is an audiovox APS57A.

Customer did not want the remote starter key fob to be able to unlock or lock the doors, so this feature is not hooked up.

Where do I need to look next?

You do not need to start a new topic. Just continue on your original post.

You cannot use the factory transmitters. They don't work with the engine running.

If the customer wants to be able to lock/unlock car with engine running, you need to add it to your supplied transmitters.

Otherwise the customer will have to shut off remote before using his transmitter to unlock car. Nobody wants to do that.

Good Enough Isn't!
