Is everything the same bewteen the two; except for the features, receiver/antenna components, and remotes? In other words, can I connect a Viper 160XVL receiver/antenna assembly to a Python 1400XP and make it a Python 1400XPL? I believe that a Python 1400XPL is just a Python 1400XP with the same receiver/antenna as the Viper160XVL. I do have the remotes for both receiver types.

Also, will the Viper 160XVL remotes operate the Python 1400XP brain?

Ok, I did some more research. The receiver/antenna(DEI 6601T Venom SST) in the Viper 160XVL is the same used in the Python 1400XPL Now the question becomes, will a Viper(7141V) remote operate a Python 1400XVL this is controlled by a Python(7141P) remote?
