I got a used 00 Chevy Blazer recently. Going to add an alarm to it and went to take a look.

I found what looks like some kind of remote start / passlock II bypass harness with 3 SPDT relays

and a few wires not connected. Something was ripped out. Also a tiny switch or button sized pair or red & black

near a drilled hole on the dash. Hole looks bigger than just led looks like a button hole.

Here is a picture. Looks like I can reuse use those existing T's.

looks like a remote start relay satelite. the center relay is a starter kill. you can see the cut starter wire in the ignition harness.

P.S. dont reuse those crappy T-tap connectors if your gonne use or do something with this.

Thanks I hope I posted this in the right forum. Was thinking about putting it in relays.

I think i'll put in an alarm with remote start, probably DEI something. And DEI 555L to bypass

passlock and replace this relay rig.

I have a bad back so I avoid all labor. So will probably reuse those t's. I know they are inferior

but the other option is to pay someone if I want a pro install. I'll settle for a cheese self install.

Should be able to handle it I put in an aftermarket alarm like 19 years ago.. (and younger bones).

:)
