I'm having an issue trying to install a DEI-561T remote start in my Brother-in-laws 2004 Chevy Tahoe. The problem I have is with the door locks, and according to the wiring diagram I have used the lock pin in the purple plug of the PCM. Using this wire location, TYPE "B" setup is to be used. My RS module has both a (+) Activation input and a (-) Activation input. How do I wire this up?

The wire colors maybe wrong as I don't have the install guide infront of me, but according to the wiring diagram (at least from what I remember from looking at it yesterday) on the 9pin harness there is a WHITE/ red wire which I believe is the (+) input and there is also a WHITE/ blue wire which the (-) input. I've put these in before on my 03 Tahoe,05 Tahoe and never used a seperate module to interface the door locks. I'm not sure what the freakin' problem is with this one, but I haven't been able to get it.

The only Tahoe's you can do locks without a data module or a ton of relays are ones that have a lock button located at the back hatch. If you don't you need a data module....

He doesn't want the aftermarket system to do the locks. He's trying for the other way around........have the factory remotes turn on the remote starter.
bulldog65,
At the driver's side fuse box, on the side of the dashboard, there are several plugs.
One of the plugs below the fuses should have the doorlock motor wires.
Try testing the tan and gray wires, until you find the one that makes a positive pulse when you lock the doors.
Connect the 561T's positive activation input to that wire.

Would this be the driver's only or both door's motor wire?

Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

The wire in question should be gray, and will probably be the wire which locks the rear doors/hatch. Driver's/front pass. doorlock motor circuits are entirely inside the door.
At any time when activating an aftermarket remote start with a factory keyless entry system, you should generally stick to using the lock motor lead. The wires listed as "lock" and "unlock" on vehicle wiring info sheets usually aren't active when the factory keyless remote is used.
