Hi to all,

Im installing a clifford intelliguard 850 to a 2004 Ford Focus.  I've been told that connecting the alarm's dome light supervison output wire (H1/15 BLACK/ WHITE) to the car's domelight circuit trigger wire, will cause the alarm to trip when its armed. Is this correct ? I thought that setting the 'delay domelight' to ON in the installer selectable features sorts this problem? So do I just leave this connection, or do I need to connect this supervision output to one of the door trigger wires?

Any guidance appreciated

Thanks

I would hook it up to the door trigger wire, you should also diode isolate it, worst case the alarm will go off when you test it after your done

the dome supervision wire is only supposed to have an output upon disarming anyway. so how can it set off the alarm? being that it was just disarmed before the dome supervision came on in the first place.
