I have a 2008 Impala and a 2009 Malibu, both with factory starters.  They don't run long enough.  Is there any type of button sequence or back door programming mode that will enable me to increase the amount of time the car runs before I have to restart it?

No way to extend the run time that I've heard of.
You could install a complete aftermarket system, but that of course isn't cheap.
Probably the best thing you can do is, before the 10-minute runtime comes to an end, you can renew the runtime for another 10 minutes, according to the procedure in the owner's manual.
