I will be using the ADS-DLSL CH3 idatalink module and installing an older cm3000 compustar remote start on my 06 ram diesel.  I'm not positive about getting accessory and ignition circuits powered on, does this module do the accessory/ignition power with the multiplex or is that just the start circuit.  Second question is how to do the wait to start, I will be using the solenoid under the hood for the signal for the compustar but if the idatalink turns everything on itself I dont think that will work, unless I'm missing something.    If I need to use the compustar to power on the accessory circuit and or ignition circuit which wires do I need to tap into?  It appears from the wiring diagrams that most of them are multiplex circuits.

The idatalink instructions list needing a diode isolated relay tied to the multiplex output of the module and hooked to the remote start module, is this a start circuit or a signal needed to for after its started? it just says a ground output.  I havent started on this one yet  I just want to know what to expect before I get into it.  Thanks for the help.

With the ram the Idatalink unit just needs to have pink ignition and green start wires at the keyswitch powered by +12v from the remote start and the "ground out when running" wire on the idatalink unit actually is used to signal the accessory circuit to turn on so it has to get a signal before starting.  Everything else is done by the Idatlink CH3 except for park lights.  Door locks, factory disarm, door sense, park brake, brake , and tach all work great, as well as the security bypass.  A total of 5 wires hooked to the vehicle to allow it to start.  Nice units super easy to program also didnt hurt that I got it on sale for $60 eitheridatalink and 06 ram -- posted image..  FWIW the new version does not need an isolating relay installed on the mux wire as the instructions state(hardware update not shown in instructions yet).  Maybe this will help with future questions.
