For some reason my remote is displaying valet mode. I must have accidentally set it. and  now when I try to use the remote start I get the usual one headlight flash followed by 2 more, indicting Valet mode.

My remote shows the icon and the manual says to escape from this just turn the key to run positon and the icon wil disappear.

No go. Tried pulling the battery from the remote, still no go.

Tried to reprogram the module but I can't get the hood pin to flash, I tried several times holding it up to 20 seconds and still nothing.

The remote locks work fine.

Can anyone suggest what else to try ??

BTW...I did have an immobilizer installed 2 months ago but have had no issues

Remote Valet Mode

Getting into Valet Mode

Hold the UNLOCK and START/STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

The Parking Lights will flash 3 times.

The transmitter will BEEP once and will display the icon; the LED will remain on solid.

Getting out of Valet Mode

Hold the UNLOCK and START/STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

• The parking lights will flash 2 times.

The transmitter will BEEP once and the icon will disappear; the LED will turn off.

It is copied from pg 10 of the user manual.

Yeah, it works on most of the autostart remote starters' families.
