does any body know what type of locks in a 08 Jeep Patriot. i need to add power locks to one, but wont see it until monday(the cars from out of town).

not sure on the patriot, but the compass is cable locks and is next to impossible to install actuators on. Most of these new chryslers have an empty space where the factory actuator would go, if you can gain full access you can add the regular aftermarket actuator to the latch itself. good luck, and let us know how it goes 08 jeep patriot cable or rod locks -- posted image.

ok. i lucked out. they have rod locks and are pretty easy to run actuators and get thru the door boot. theres alot of space inside the door panel and the actuators can be mounted verticall pretty much parallel with the oem lock rod.
