Looking at purchasing the 1WAM-S remote starter and thru Googling noticed it under two company names. I can get the First Tech 1WAM-S shipped for $57.00 which is cheaper than any other place I've found. Just want to be sure they are the same units before pushing the button!! The pictures of the First Tech and Compustar look identical.

Yes they're the same people. It's Firstech LLC that owns Compustar.

Firstech is the main US distribution hub for Compustar. Compustar is the brand name of the units being sold ( like Viper is for DEI )

Just wanted to make sure I am getting the remote starter I wanted. Sounds like a pretty good price and with the help of this forum should be able to get her installed!!
