The Firebird has a high-current domelight circuit, with the doorpin switches applying ground directly to the domelight bulbs.
Did you use a relay? If you wired the Clifford's domelight output directly to the Firebird's white door-trigger wire, the output from the Clifford has probably already been burned out.
So, with the Clifford's wire connected to nothing at all in the car.......you connect that to a test light or meter to test for ground.............press unlock on the Clifford, and you get nothing at all?

Actually door locks on a Toyota, nor h/lights nor I believe horn require relays, the feeds at switch end are all low current neg. If as Chris says you burned out the black white domelight controller, take the door unlock and feed a DEI multi-purpose timer to control the dome lights.

the toyota had after market locks i had to or thought i had to install relays for it and the horn i was just being extra carefull not to burn anything up i used the diagram that came with the alarm although the one 12 volts shows for "illuminated entry negative door trigger" was different, maybe i wired the relay improperly .i do understand how the timer to the door lock would do the same, good info

You coul also use channel 4, program to 30 second output, link it to disarm, So when you unlock it will activate  channel 4 for 30 seconds. Keep in mind you will need a bitwriter to do that or may be not look in the programming options of the install guide.

i am an amatuer and only do my installs because i enjoy doing it. i did a while back do stereo and sec installs as a job back then all stereos had 2 shafts for the controlls and all mounted thru the back so that will tell you how long ago that was, so to say the least i am behind the times and do not have a bitwriter the place i bought it said it is still under warranty and they would reinstall it for $100 to$150 nearly everything works now but i am bothered by things that do not work as designed so i think i will let them do it if the illum. circuit is burned it is not from me thinking i did it right i did use a relay an they way i was directed, hopefully they will warranty it and it will be done with thank youfor thr help
