I'm in the process of replacing a defective alarm/remote start system (Python 1500HF) with a keyless entry system because that was really all I wanted to work.
So I bought a Valet 712t and before I start ripping everything out I was wondering if there is a way to connect the shock sensor from the old python system to trigger the alarm?

the 712T does not have an alarm. its a keyless unit only. it has a panic feature which can only be triggered by the remote.

Oops my bad.
I got everything mixed up and confused with the cheap bulldog system I almost bought. Same price but looking at the reviews i
'm still glad i got this one.

Is there any use in keeping the transponder bypass unit? I know this works because the old system would randomly arm and start the car without any keys.

not unless you were to add and use a remote start later. there wont be anything that hooks up from the 712t to it at all.

Im not planning on adding anything else onto this car but if my original key was lost or broken and I needed to start the vehicle with a key cut from a hardware store is it possible to rig it up to a hidden switch to activate when I need it to?

COOl. One last question.
Here is the wiring for the unit(555U) I found from another post.
red wire. constant. blue wire negative out from alarm . white wire not needed.
So I would just connect ground to the blue wire to activate it?
Also would you use a button or a constant switch?

yes, you would just use the blue wire to ground through a switch to turn it on or off. i would use a momentary push button myself.
