Hello, I'm having a problem the remote start on this car.
I'm using a clifford 50.7x with remote start with a 556lw passlock module.
the car will not engage rs. When i push the button the key fab just reads "remote start error". There is no clicking or any type of engaging coming from the alarm unit.
I have the wires set up as follows...
Pink wire (from the alarm) to the pink wire in the car & white wire in car
All 12v constants are hooked up to the 12v constant in the car
The alarm has a good ground with no paint.
Violet wire to yellow wire back too starter
Green wire to yellow wire back to ignition switch
Orange wire to orange wire (accessories)
Brown wire in car is untouched
pink & white and pink and black have been left disconnected on the rs side because they are used as ign2 relays, and manual doesn't call for it for this particular application.
I have to white and blue status wire hooked up to the blue wire on the passlock control module.
red wire on pl to 12v
pink on pl to ignition wire
black on pl to ORANGE / black on tumbler
yellow on pl to yellow towards keyside
BLACK / YELLOW on pl to yellow towards bcm
Any help guys? i could really use it.

Let's start by wiring it correctly:

Disconnect white wire from pink wire at ignition. Connect red, RED / white and RED / black of r-start to B+, pink/white of r-starter to white wire of ignition.

How many times do the parklight flash when you try to remote start?

Here are the most common causes.

7 = First make sure the unit is programmed for automatic trannies - mode 3, feature 1, option 2.

Secondly, BLACK/ White neutral safety wire is not grounded. This wire is in same connector as tach. It needs to be grounded for automatic trannies.

8 = Neutral Safety Shutdown. There is a toggle switch which needs to be turned on.

Also, are you using tach mode or virtual tach? If tach, did you connect and learn tach?

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
