Hey all,

I've got a 97 Jetta VR6 in the bay and i'm putting in a TRC alarm, and I for the life of me cannot find how the vacuum operated door locks work. I popped out the switch and there is one small green wire that goes 12v on lock and ground on unlock, but I can't get the alarm to activate it. I'd really appreciate any help! Thanks in advance.

On all the VW of  that year in the UK, the locking is positive pulse on the Grey(lock) and Green(unlock) from either front door.

Hope this helps

Nick
