We are installing an Avital 4113 on an '07 Ram 2500 Diesel auto with a Directed PKUCG2X bypass.  RS only, no locks.  RS ingages, dash lights come on but starter will not ingage.  I know it has to be something simple but we are at our wits end on this one.  We've had the customers truck for 4 days now and can't get it figured out.  Actually, we previously had a Crimestopper EZ55DP installed with the relay configuration and it was doing the exact same thing.  Once we ran out of options with there tech team (when we could get through to them) we switched to the directed unit but we are not a Directed dealer so they wont give us any tech support at all.  We tried the 1K resistor on the start wire at the bypass but problem remains.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Following is how we have it wired incase someone sees the problem there.

from the RS:

6pin Heavy guage harness: Both red 12v inputs are to batt w/ 30a fuse.  Pink ign. output goes to the pink /wht wire in the vehicles ignition harness.  Violet starter wire is not wired.  Orange accesory output is not wired.  Pink/wht ign2 output goes to the pink ign input on the bypass.

4pin satellite harness: Pink (-) third ignition is not wired.  Purple (-) 2nd starter turn on goes to the green starter output on the bypass.  Orange (-)Accessory on is not wired.  Blue (-) status output goes to the brown ground when running input on the bypass.

9pin H1 harness: only two wires hooked up; GREEN/ blk (-) factory alarm disarm goes to the pink/wht disarm input on the bypass.  Black ground input goes to chassis.

From the bypass:

Violet/wht goes to the bcm side of the MUX.  Violet goes to key side of MUX.  Red 12v input goes to battery.  Black ground to chasis.  Orange and blue are not wired.  Brown, green, pink/wht and Pink all go to RS as noted above.

Again thanks for any help!

so far so good, but instead of using the PINK/ white, just wire the pink wire of the bypass straight to the pink on the starter.

"""  4pin satellite harness: Pink (-) third ignition is not wired.  Purple (-) 2nd starter turn on goes to the green starter output on the bypass.  Orange (-)Accessory on is not wired.  Blue (-) status output goes to the brown ground when running input on the bypass.""

Wrong!!!! the gren wire of the bypass goes to the positive heavy gauge Purple wire of the starter only, not the thin purple see manual .

""" 9pin H1 harness: only two wires hooked up; GREEN/ blk (-) factory alarm disarm goes to the pink/wht disarm input on the bypass.  Black ground input goes to chassis."""

good

So you see there lies the problem , wrong connection on the bypass Green wire, needs to go to positive starter wire only. Also make sure you tap the mux wire right at the ignition switch. the wire doesn't run down the steering column, it goes up to the skreem module. Good Luck

Great, thanks.  Rewired as you said and now it starts but only runs for 3 seconds then shuts off.  It then goes through the starting sequence again and again runs for 3 seconds and shuts off.

did you program the pkucg2x? if so did you use tach tachless? keep in mind that if you used tachless the voltage mode won't work , becuase the alrenator doen't kick on until a minute or so after the car starts. if it stay running for three second you atheir didn't program tach or bypass is not programmed.
