hey i have an audiovox 997 and i was wouner when i instal the remote staet do i have to use the starter kil relay to get the remote start to work? and if so how do i hook it up thanks and its a stock ranger with no power windows or locks or factory arlam.

No you do not need to install the starter kill relay to get the remote start to work.

ok but my remote start dont work? i cant seemt o get the tach wire to wrok so i cant program the cimputer for the tach speed and this is why i think its not working i have it hooked up to the tan/white wireer coming over the 4 wire pulg for the coil pack is this right?

We need a little better definition of "But my remote start don't work"     Yes the wire is tan/white at the coil.

so i just installed my audiovox 997 and everything works the remote start and everything. the only problem i have is when i remote start it the blower motor for the heater wont turn on till i get it in and put the key in and turn it to the on position and it makes me really confusied and i have a 98 ford ranger if that makes it easier for someone to help me.
