The factory installed horn/alarm system started going off in my 07 F250 last night for no apparent reason.  Horn went from intermittent blasts to continuous blast.  Finally got it stopped by hitting the horn button (center of steering wheel) after opening the truck.  Smelled an electrical burning smell, but that went away.  Dealer has no idea and this has never happened before.  Any history on this or what the problem could be?

Don't let the dealer blow you off..... the truck is under warranty isn't it?

Pounding on the horn to shut this thing off is a coincky-dink!

The smell..... the damage is already done.

Unfortunately no warranty any more, but I intend to try to talk them into this being part of the safety system.  Also, I may have gotten lucky by hitting the horn button, but it seemed to work as soon as I did that.  Thanks.
