I got the location of the wiring from the internet witch are:
1-Constant 12V+ White Ignition Switch Harness
2-Starter WHITE/ Black Ignition Switch Harness
3-Ignition Green Ignition Switch Harness
4-Ignition n/a
5-Accessory Yellow Ignition Switch Harness (ABS Light)
6-Tach Blue Or RED / Green Coil on top of Engine 2 Cylinder
7-Brake Switch WHITE/ Black Brake Switch
8-Parking Lights Orange (+) White Connector on Steering Column (Ignition on to Test)
9-Door Trigger Yellow (-) Driver's Kick Panel 2 Pin Connector
10-Door Lock Blue/Green (-) Driver's Kick Panel
11-Door Unlock Yellow/Red (-) Driver's Kick Panel

wires 1-2-3-4-5-7-has been found.
for the wires 6 I will provide a picture.in witch connector this wire should be, also how can I test it, to find if it is the right one?

for the wire 8 i believed ht connector is the one in the red circle, this one has three pins:
A-WHITE/ red
B:orange
c:BLACK/ red
testing I found the WHITE/ red has 12v permanently, the other two negative, BUT in the information on the above indicate the orange is the positive. am I testing right? does anyone has the same case?
for the wires number 9 I can Not see any 2 Pin Connector on the Driver's Kick Panel, how can I trace this wire?
Isupply this picture, it may help:

for wires number 10 and 11. I locate the Yellow/Red wire on the connector with a purple circle but I can not see the blue/green, any idea how can I trace it?
thanks in advance for all the help

Wire no 6 take a DMM set to AC volts, on engine run should read 3-9volts AC, increases slightly as engine revs increase, should be able to pick this up on tach lead behind instrument panel.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Wire no 8, split with 2N5400 series diodes and run to the indicators either at Haz switch or steering column,  North America uses running lights the rest of the world uses direction indicators.  No9 go to either driver's door switch, or dome light if this turns off immediately you close the door or if there there is a door open indicator on the instrument panel. Door lock...three answers, one 2000 was a changeover year, there might not be a motor in the drivers door and you will have to add a driver's door actuator, thats a PITA and if you find no actuator, PM me and I'll send you install pictures.  If there is and the vehicle has a keyless entry, you can pick up the lock/unlock motor wires in the r/h/kickwell. Third I think by 2000 they used a 1 wire system, easy method, the control unit is under dash to the right hand side, black box size of ciggie packet probably marked lock control unit, one of the wires will go neg on unlock and you open circuit ie cut to lock. I think it's the yellow red. Check this site once you've tested for different lock systems. Is this a remote start as well?  That's why you wanted tach?  If so one of the pins on your engine management will go to ground only when gearbox is in neutral, this will give you your safety factor.

i did one of these today viper 791xv, the tach wire i can't help there  just used voltage sense it was a dei unit, follow howie's instructons, the parking lights are in fact orange at that same three pin jack in the steering column, the orange wire will only go to twelve positive when you toggle the parking light switch directly above the jack at the top of the steering column, for the lock trigger wires pick them up in the driver kickwell, it's in a large white connector leading into the driver door, the wire colours i found were, BLACK/ green, BLACK/ orange, before the connector changed colour into the driver door, negative trigger

commit your way to jehovah and he will act in your behalf. psalms 37:5

If you go to vehicle wiring on this site,  work forwards from the 2000 Suby you will find they are all very similar with regards to the vehicle wiring,  use those charts and test.  t&t are your Subies US spec, Japanese or UK sourced?  i.e. do they have rear fog lights as OEM fittings?

I still don't know why you need to find tach, I went on to the Uniden site and it doesn't appear to have a remote start so why are they asking you for tach unless it's for RPM controled locking or anti-hijack in which case you would have a brake light connection as well.  As far as I could see it's the equivalent to a UK Cat 1 alarm and as such the light outputs will be x2 and for the indicators.  I'd have bought the Toad, at least I know that one it's a Clifford 650    Mk ll  rebranded!  And the installed price, unless the exchange rate £ to NZ$ is 2.5 to one blimey!  A Clifford/Viper/Toad etc Cat l alarm should be £350 installed, although we have a different spec to the US we are about twice as expensive!
