wat's up guys, i have a question, did a 2005 toyota rav4 today, now i noticed at the drivers door controls, there are only about six or seven wires(all thin gauge i might add), which controls all four windows express up and down and door lock unlock functions, so i just wanted to know what type of system controls it all, and i also noticed there's no info for 2005 rav4 in the database, i'll post what i found tommorow, for future reference.

when i say type of system, i mean is it multiplex or data or some other means i don't know off, i just find the amount of wires to be very little for the amount of functions the contols have, or am i crazy. p.s, if my questions aren't to intelligent it's because i 'm just trying to make sense of what i don't know.

Spot on t&t I wasn't going to talk to you after last week's 1 day cricket but there you go. Most Japanese manufacturers have used data for some years, you might get an AC reading of 1-5volts on a meter, that confirms data, you actually did a visual procedure that I came up with recently viz:- If it hasn't got 10 wires of similar guage (1.5-2mm) 4 windows, power and ground, then it's data and you go to each motor.

ah howie, we have the englishmen, they hardly have a chance with the windies at home, what do you think about  the loss on the duckworth/lewis miscalculation from the windies manager, we lost by one run because of that.

Yes I'm still trying to get my head round that, the Windies manager made a real miscalculation there, didn't he.  I think the Aussies could beat both teams at once on current form. I liked the Cheerleaders though.
