Im pin the process of installing a viper 5901 in the 1999 mitsubishi eclipse. Im trying to map out all my wires first and in looking for the parking light wire it says it should be GREEN / WHITE in my kick panel but after looking there there seems to be 3 GREEN / WHITE wires there. Are these all the parking light wires? or am i looking in the wrong harness?

If you were using a multimeter, you would be able to answer your own question. How are you going to do the install with no way to test wires?

This is actually the PERFECT reply...... you know the color of the wire.... you have FOUND the wire, but ask a question like this? Hmmm.

yeaa i figured that out just wasn't sure if each wire controlled a different light. but moving on i am now confused on the light flash-isolation wire. why would the switch need to be isolated or what does this wire need to be connected to?

Alright so i got the alarm installed today and thought it was all good. I hooked up the harnesses to the 5901 unit and paired the lc3 remote. The alarm arms and disarms fine but now my power locks don't work. The door lock fuse is fine and the lock wire reads 12v normal but the unlock wire does not. What could have happened if the fuse is okay? or is there another fuse than the one in the fuse box in the driver kick panel. Could the relay go bad somehow? It seemed to click a few times when i was attaching the harness to the main unit. Also what would be the best place to mount the 5901 unit since the shock sensor is inside of it. The manual says not to attach it to metal or the steering column but where else would be a good place for the shock sensor? any input will help
