I just purchased a flashing LED on ebay.
It is shown here.

The wires are only a few inches. I need to extend the wires. I was wondering what wires to use and where to get them.
Also, what wires do you generally use for the alarms?

Go to an auto parts store and purchase 3 appropriate colored rolls of 18 Ga. primary wire. Do not use telephone or Cat5 cable. You really need stranded wire. Telephone and Cat5 are solid conductor wire.   Not good to use in the high vibration environment of a vehicle.

Radioshack also has decent wire.

It's hard to find good wire for cheap if you only need a little bit of it - you don't have many options.
