horn output?

I installed a clifford intelliguard 750 on a 06 magnum and im having trouble getting the horn to honk when the alarm is triggered. I dont know if the horn output from the alarm module is bad or if i hooked the horn output wire from the alarm module to the vehicles horn wire wrong. Could someone please give me some insight on this minor problem! Thanks in advance!

Where did you connect to the horn wire in the car?

I ran the horn output wire from the alarm module under the hood and connected it straight to the horn wire coming from the vehicle's horns located behind the grille.

The horn output of the alarm is a (-). The horn of the vehicle needs a (+). You will need to add a relay.
86 and 87.   12volts
85 (-) horn output of alarm
30 to vehicles (+) horn wire

horn output? -- posted image. O okay, thankz! What damage would be done by hooking that negative output wire from the alarm module directly to the positive wire of the vehicle's hornz? horn output? -- posted image.

You probably haven't yet burned out the horn output from the alarm.
Anyway, with a little testing, you don't need to mess with a relay.
The car already has a factory relay, in the underhood fuse box.
The relay should be listed in the owner's manual under the Fuses section............but, just remove one relay at a time until the horn doesn't work anymore, and then you'll know which one it is.
With the relay removed, there are five terminals there in the fuse box.
Test which one of those five makes a ground when you hit the horn button on the steering wheel. It would be good to have a helper to push the horn button while you test the five terminals with your meter or test light.
Once you figure out which one it is, carefully wrap a wire around the correct terminal on the factory relay, and reinstall it.
