1995 chevy caprice remote start problem

I had an Black widow security system installed in my vehicle about a year ago. the problem i am having is that some times the remote start does not start the vehicle, it just click(one time) like its going to start but does not start. But when i turn the key inside the vehicle to on position, then try to remote start it, it starts. Another problem i am having  is that when it does start, the system work properly until the ac/heater engages then the power wire to the remote start sys. gets hot and some times blow the fuse. Any suggestions?

It sounds like its time to take it back to the shop. Most units have limited lifetime warranties. When it does attempt to start...do all lights on the dash come on...It just doesnt crank...?
