I know they are out of Ohio...Does anybody know if the division is still open in either Denver or Utah...Any Southwest or Midwest guys on here...? The alarms were the brand Karr 2040 and 4040 Etc...Or any contact info for them...If i remember correctly...Larry Pomarico and Joe Reed were the Go-To guys then. Thanks

Yes, some of the divisions are still open. I also worked for them out of CO, and KS. I know they got hit hard recently with the crappy car sales....in fact, that's how I got laid off. I was the lead installer and did all the training out here in KC. Spent almost 5 years with the company. As far as I know, both Larry and Joe are both still in CO....I don't have Reed's # anymore, but I can get it for you tomorrow.

I think it was about 5 months ago, when I got laid off....this division got rid rid of all installers, and now the OPS manager does the few installs they have.  Last I knew, Frank actually went back to installing. He took over John Elway Toyota, and was very happy making some money, instead of being on salary. If I remember right, they lost all of the auto nation stores though. It's been a while since I've talked to him, so i'm not sure what he's doin now. Miss the little feller though!

Don't think Utah is in business, or has been for quite a while..

Yeah, good thing you didn't. Surprised the doodie out of me when I got laid off. I figured they would of sent me to another division, which is what I had been requesting for quite a while. Oh well, can't say anything bad about em....they treated me good while I was there and wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back to the CO division. Time for bigger and better things! Anyways, I'm still in KC. A buddy and I just started a mobile install business. Not sure where it's gonna take us....but it's worth a try. I also work at a local install shop whenever they need me. Always looking for a job though! No problem with relocating! HAHA Gotta try

good luck with it. i know of a few guys that do just mobile installs (assuming as in on site). it works ok for them, though there has been a decline in business too. i've actually noticed an uptrend in business in our install bay (best buy) as compared to this time frame last year. don't get me wrong though, still more down time then i care for

When they closed the ohio division...They had everyone come in to one dealership...Then they invited us to coffee...They were going really slow in parking lot soooooo...I went ahead and got a coffee...5 minutes later...Almost everyone was laid-off...Except a few  to work activation or de-installs...Kinda same feeling about the company...I liked them...Would probably go back if shop ever failed. The only thing that really wized me off was that i paid for my own coffee while being demoted to the guy that sits in the detail bay from open to close.
