Hi guys i am new here and i looked everywhere else but no one can give me a good answer so i hope you guys can help me out. I am a local car audio shop owner, been doing this 10 years plus. But this truck that i have put a remote start on is giving me a run for my money. I put a autopage 727 alarm and remote start on it. Me and my alarm guy hooked it up and started it up everything seems to be right but it keeps triggering the check engine light. And they are transmission codes. Called autopage's tech line and they couldnt tell me why it was doing that. The ignition bypass is hooked up correctly. So the million dollar question is what did i not hook up or if this has happen to someone else. Any advice wil be appericated

that truck has 2 main ignition wires --pink and white, both wires must see power thru crank, the white wire can not drop during crank as an accessory, if it does or it is not powered up it will throw trans codes

does your remote start have 2 ignition outputs? or 1 ign 1 acc? or 1 ign 1 acc and 1 programmable for either ignition or accessory?im not familiar with auto page, i use audiovox, and have used dei both of which have 1 ign 1 acc and 1 programmable as either ign or acc

You believe?   It's best to know for sure! The answer to the problems you have has been given.

Power both ignition wires... your remote start output will do the job. If there is only 1 single 12v ign output, there ARE

negative outputs for additional "needs" Use a relay......
