Great forums here! I just purchaced a service truck that had this Clifford Matrix 12 alarm installed. I could use an installation guide and I find none online.  No big problems,  but I mainly want to see what features they did utilize. IE I don't ever want to deal w/ a starter / ignition disable feature. My beefs:  according to the owners guide the tamper alert is active- so I'm guessing one of the zones are a miss. Might be associated w/ the fact when I moved the alarm, the door locks activated. Obviously, something to check re the installation there... The LEDs flash constantly- even when running and they be a bit bright and are distracting at night. I'd like to also quiet the chirps to a lower volume level. This plus I need a second remote. Can someone steer me  to a schematic or installation guide? Can I accomplish the things I want to accomplish above or does a dealer need to  do some of the programing? Thanks in advance.

There is no 12 here, but there is a 12.5.  The installation may or may not be the same, check a few wire colors to see if they are the same.

It might be awaile before I can get elbow deep into  this, but as I  assess the installation, it appears that the imobilizer feature is untilized.  Do these alarms have a good track record? My original thought was to disable that feature as I didn't want any trouble down the road with it. Opinions please! Thanks.

I have no idea how dependable that unit is.  But if you are doing the install, Interupt only the starter wire of the vehicle.  When you interrupt this wire, make you a jumper so you can easily bypass the immobilizer by reconnecting the 2 ends of the wire you cut to disable the starter.

An FYI. The install manual for the 12.5 is compatable for the 12. In my case , I also had a damaged wire. Schematic worked for me as well as what programming I did regarding remotes and lock features. Thanks once again.
