Do you have an alarm, or are you attempting to do this with the factory keyless entry?  If factory keyless,  I can make something work with a few relays.

If you press lock twice, does it not honk the horn?

Two answers:  1) Locate the alarm's siren OR the siren wires at the factory alarm 1 of these wires will either go pos or neg when the siren sounds. Then find one  (probably of two, both the same colour -yellow?) which goes  probably pos to run your indicators when you arm or disarm the alarm.  If the siren has a pos lead, join to one of the indicator wires then  immediately after that join,  break the indicator wire and insert a 2N54xx diode with the band facing away from the alarm.  If the siren wire is neg,  same procedure but take the wire from the indicator to a relay terminal 86, ground to 85 and 30, siren output from 87. Except this probably won't work especially as the "factory alarm" is probably a Cobra Cat l which uses a speaker not a siren. In that case 2) Obtain a small siren or sounder, run the indicator wire to it's red and ground the black.  That's your answer.  Don't ask for any colours, We don't know.  It's down to you and a DMM.  Incidentally the last trick with the sounder or buzzer is what Cobra themselves used to do.

here's my idea, it requires the use of  single pole double throw relay, wired like this,

pin 30- connect one of the indicator wires to this teminal, (anyone it doesn't matter)

pin 87a- to the siren's positive,

pin 85- to ground

pin 86- to igntion and using the remaining indicator wire diode thes two inputs to this terminal

this way the siren will chirp via the output of the indicators, but the siren will not sound while the van is in motion and you are using the indicaors, or if you had to use the hazards in case of emergency, with the van off.

commit your way to jehovah and he will act in your behalf. psalms 37:5

t&t. you are behind the learning curve here, look at what I already posted earlier.  N.B. If and it's a big if, both indicator output AND siren "going" lead are pos, relay not needed, just a diode.  Actually if siren were neg, and door locks were same you could do the same thing with the diode direction reversed. Except if it's a Cobra unit, in the UK, also supplied as dealer fit option to Nissan and Mitsubishi,  the siren is a speaker so you will need a separate sounder. Methinks this is either a Cat 2-1 add on or uses the factory remotes.  If its a 3198 Cobra, with it's own remotes it  will be dealer programmable to chirp.   If it utilises the car's remotes, it won't be.

that looks good

not sure about  pin 86     it goes to ignition useing the other indicator wire  so do you want me to join a wire from the ign and the other indicator wire through a dioade and then into pin 86        is this what you mean    also were on the ing do i have to wire to   and is pin 87 not used thanks
