I just flashed the xk531 to the firmware for an 02 liberty and whenever I goto look at the manual for the said firmware, it comes up with platform 3, which is different then the manual that they show on the website. Reason I ask is in platform 3, it leaves out the section for the programming for the remote start.

Does this platform not do the remote start part for the liberty or does it?

do the CHDL4 v1.00 for the xk531. You need both keys though. There is some diodes involved with it, but it worked like a charm. Door locks and immobilizer bypass.

Also check to make sure it is made in the U.S. The last 2002 was imported from canada so a ton of the wiring colors changed for the diodes. Test and good luck.
