I have recently installed a Excalibur 1510 EDP Alarm with RS-110 remote start add-on. Vehicle is a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. Have everything programmed including the needed bypass and everything works fine except the remote start. When going to remote start the lights on dash light up but the is crank or starting from starter. I have checked to see if the remote start unit is giving off power on the remote start wires and it does so like it should but no crank. It tries this 3 times with lights coming on on the dash like it is attempting to start but never cranks. Also I have done tach learning and the unit LED turned on confirming that it learned the tach. Please let me know if anyone has any troubleshooting tips that will help me out? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your bypass is not programmed correctly. Try turning your key to the on position and quickly try to remote start it. If it starts it is a bypass issue.
Otherwise check your starter wire connection. Also make sure ALL your ignition/accessory wires are powered up with a multi-meter. I have had a couple brains not have connection to a ignition wire output before.

Ok I have checked all connection and tested them with multi meter. Everything is connected correctly and all wires are correct wires. I re-programmed the bypass and still won't remote start. Dash lights come on and accessories come on as if it is trying to start but does not crank at all. tries this 3 times and same thing every time I tried the key thing also didn't work. when remote starting all wires from remote start send 12V to the appropriate wires as I tested them. Please let me know what else could be the issue or if there is just a bad unit or bypass. Bypass seems fine because it is allowing all other functions to wrok properly but I could be wrong. Let me know. Thanks.
