i have a clifford concept 650 alarm that has developed a fault, The fault is the immobiliser has come on and will not let me start the car, the remote start still works but when you try and switch over to the key (normal opperation) the car just stops. I have never had the alarm serviced and it is just over four years old so my questions are

1 . could i take it to any clifford agent to get repaired under warranty?

2. would a mark 2 version work with everything else installed i.e. windows / remote start?

3. are the wiring plugs all the same on the older version to the newer version?

4. if a mark 2 version could be installed could the original key transmitters be used on the newer version along side the new transmitters via using the software cliffnet wizard pro version2.2 to program them

thanks for the help

Immobiliser lock would be a warrantee matter, you'd probably be charged for removal and refit labour .Only ever had 1 unit (a 650Mk ll) go open circuit on the starter side and that's what 10 years of installing G4 and G5 product.

The newer 650 Mk ll is old 950, the aux looms are completely different, remote controls non-compatible.

All the accessories would work the same way, you just have to change brain and looms.

There;  three sentences to to answer your four questions.

Sorry I forgot, there was a small batch about 3 years ago with that problem.
