Hi i am installing a clifford matrix 3.3 alarm on my car which is a 1998 impreza i have wired it up and the alarm is working but i am having problems wiring the remote start up to the car does anyone have a diagram which will show how to connect the wire from the unit and to the car. The other thing i am having problems with is the central locking unit i have connected the actuator to the alarm and it springs up and down when i press lock/unlock but the locks dont move any advice on these problems will be much appreciated. Thanks

Does the alarm lock/unlock the driver's door?  If so does turning the key in driver's door lock or pulling the lock button in and out lock/unlock the other doors?  If NOT you have either a faulty OEM  locking system or you've removed the original driver's door switch (not an actuator) when you installed the new actuator. I have photos of the proper way to do this car. You sound like you've already bitten off too much, their's only 1 person in the London area who does these on a regular basis, i.e. me;  most dealers will want to rip it out and re-install.(If they can).

I'll give you some pointers as to  why the remote isn't working.

Tach sense not learned (inst panel, rev counter or engine management)

Neutral safety not done (engine management)

Ign by-pass not done.

Or faulty wiring.  From your story on the central locking, I Imagine that would have something to do with it.
