Can anyone provide installation information for a remote start on a 2009 Tiguan? Any suggestions on the most compatible remote starters would be appreciated as well.

You will need a CAN compatible by-pass to achieve this unless you have a standard type key. Check with DEI or Fortin. Not recommended for "amateur" (no offense) installation, the wiring is murder to get at.
