I am planning for the install of a Compustar P2W900FM-S starter and ADS TBSL PL bypass in my 2002 Silverado LT.

I could have sworn I have seen a diagram for wiring seat heat to aux on this site years ago but can not find it. I would appreciate if anyone could post or send me a diagram and/or pictures to hook these up.

I am not totally clear on dome light and factory alarm. The dome light supervision should be handled by trigger on BCM Purple plug, pin B4- Tan(-) at door unlock I think. Does Factory alarm disarm/rearming need to be wired or will that take care of itself with lock and unlock commands sent to Lt blue and White wires at BCM.

I would be grateful for any other pointer or tricks you can provide me to make this installation better.

On the drivers door should be the hot seat control. On the back side of this switch there are 2 solder points just below the actual switch.

Using a pulsed trigger from your alarm (like the truck pop) on a relay to pin 85. 86 gets 12 volts. 87 will go to the solder point (looking at the BACK of the switch..remember) to the

front or right side of the switch. Pin 30 will go to the other solder point THRU a 2Kohm resistor. The first trunk pop will turn the hot seat to HIGH, the second pop will turn it to LOW, the

3rd trunk pop will shut it OFF!

First, thanks for the reply I really appreciate it. That seems straight forward. Do you know, when activated this way, does the normal seat heat indicator lights work. In other words, if I activate the seat heat through the remote start, then take over with key does the seat heat switch show if high or low is on. I assume it will, but just wanted to verify. Also I assume I would need to do the same in passenger door if I wanted passenger seat heat through remote.
