I have door locks that require negative polarity and has factory relays but the manual does not seem to consider them in the installation process based on the diagrams. The door lock/unlock wires are referenced to connect to 2 relays each using terminals 87, 87a, and 30. Do I really need to use relays instead of tapping into the keyless module as the ford diagram indicates?
Thanks

I was able to figure this one out. The polarity on the outputs are negative. The manual was referring to the built-in relays and not additional ones. They sometimes have a confusing way of explaining things. For those who might have a similar confusion, I had to ground the negative input wire, each for lock and unlock to provide power to the built-in relay. I was expecting the brain to provide ground and didn't realize that the door wires had dedicated ground input wires.
Thanks for the help...
