What is the best location to put a single sensor microwave detector in a Dodge Ram quad cab?  had it mounted on the front window above the mirror but it is not working out well in that location.

Mount it in the center console at the base with the module facing up and wiring facing the engine and wire it back to the alarm brain.

I don't  know this vehicle but I would try to go into the roof lining a bit further back, you get better coverage of the vehicle with fewer obstructions. Why oh why don't the manufacturers make longer leads for these sensors, especially the 508d.
