hi i been searching in the download section direct wire information and dont seem to find anything i was wondering if anyone can provide a pdf copy of the information from direct wire for a 1999 chevy malibu 3.1 thanks in advancedirect wire info for 1999 chevy malibu -- posted image.

thanks man i got it all down but i was wondering if some one had like the info from direct wire that they could post up for download just so i can feel more confident about what im doing this is my first install i know i should let a pro install it but wouldn't hurt to learn to do these installs

always use a meter as ANY install sheet is only a reference guide and manufacturers have been known to change wire colors etc.
audiovox has just as reliable info as directwire, ive been a dealer for both and many times one will have correct info while other is different thats why use only as reference NEVER hook up without using a meter to verify wiring

i got another question do i need a bypass module like the DEI 555LW for the passlock system or can i use relays to bypass the passlock system?

you can use relays or a 556l type bypass

there are many different bypass modules for the passlock that just make it easier, but relays, while more time consuming are cheaper and can be used

ill just go with a XK06 bypass module and have it flashed with the PLXR 3.0 firmware
