I was wondering if this remote starter will work in a 1998 GMC pickup with a 6.5 diesel?? The truck currently has a Command Start 290i installed in it that doesn't work. I bought the truck with this remote starter in it and it hasn't worked since have I owned the truck. I have this 650 that was taken out of another vehicle sitting in a box and figured if it would work with a diesel that I would remove the command start and it instead.

there are 2 models autopage rs-650 and 650 plus.

the 650 will work, just make sure to program the diesel wait time.

you might have V.A.T.S. chipped key in that truck that you'll need to bypass.

It is an RS-650 with an alarm on it. How do I control the glow plugs or what funtion do I use to do this??
