Hello,

Does anyone know the pin-out on an OEM keyless entry module for an '06 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer?

I'm looking to find out what controls the interior dome and exterior puddle lights "fade on"/"fade off" feature.

looks like there is a gray 66 pin connector in the left hand kick panel with 2 BLACK/ blue wires in it pins 16 and 17 (they are spliced together) both are outputs of the instrument cluster and go to both the puddle lights and the dome lights
the interior lamp relay is inside the cluster

Thanks.  What I'm looking to do is wire my headlights and reverse lights so that when I hit the key fob's "unlock" button, they come on with the puddle and interior map/dome lights.

Basically I'm trying to find out how the OEM system works.  Ford example, what controls the interior map lights and exterior puddle lights when the key fob's "unlock" button is pressed; is there a single wire output that controls the "lock" and "unlock" functions, etc.

if you use the wires i listed above the headlights and reverse lights will come on when ever you turn on the dome light
ok it looks to me that the VSM controls the locks and sends a command the the IC to turn on the lights when the RKE is used   the system looks to be using the MS-CAN network to do this
