idatalink

Have an easy question to all you pro's. Been installing remote starters/alarms for 7 years however never installed a idatalink module before. Everything seems pretty straight foward. Seems power is being pulled from the remote start brain as no connection to 12v + is made to the car. I don't see a Connection to the car's STARTER wire listed in the manual. Is this supposed to be made to the car using the remote starters starter output wire or is the idatalink controlling the cars ECU to start the vehicle?

Also Anyone know the door trigger color code to a 09 chevy malibu and location?

Any help qould be greatly appreciated.

Reason for my door pin color is just in case this car needs the RAP wire connected for radio shutoff after start( not sure if car has this feature)

I'm sure this will be an easy piece to install just not having done 1 yet just want to have all my questions answered before install.

driver doorpin is grey/black at the BCM, like you said, yes this is a pretty straight forward install you should be fine
