need the clutch wire for a 06 ford mustang. can i use the positive wire directly from the unit (python)

If you are using a remote start that is manual safe..... connect your starter output to the RED / light blue at the clutch that shows ground when the clutch is pressed or not. (constant ground) there are 2 wires same color, test!
