Hello,

I am installing a Commando 2-door Central Power Locking Unit :

http://www.commandocaralarms.com/itemdetails.asp?Productid=533

as well as a Keyless Entry System For my Ranger ;

Commando Re30 or the Commando KL-455 is one better than the other?

http://www.commandocaralarms.com/itemdetails.asp?Productid=1189

Does an one know where i can find wiring schematics for this truck and do I have to use the starter kill with the keyless entry.   I have Ford's PATS ANTI-THEFT system and i don't want to disable it but i would like to add keyless entry.  Also If anyone knows of a better keyless entry system can you point it out to me.  This is my first ever install still learning the lingo.

Thank You

-Jason

Constant 12 volts YELLOW IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 12 volts GREEN/ VIOLET IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter RED / L BLUE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Dome Light BLACK/ L BLUE (+) LEFT KICK PANEL
Trunk Pin Switch N/A
Parking Lamp BROWN (+) AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH
Power Lock PINK / YELLOW LEFT (W KEYLESS) See Tech #201
Power Unlock PINK/L GREEN KICK PANEL (W / O KEYLESS) #203
* Ford's G.E.M. May Drop A Low Signal Across The Dome Light And In Most Cases Cause A False Trigger. To Eliminate This Cut the Door Pin Trigger Wires At The G.E.M. And Insert A One-Amp Diode With Band Side Faceing Doors.Make Your Isolated Connection On The Door Pin Side. The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is to the left of the radio.Door Pin Wires:YELLOW/BLACK (DR), GRAY/RED (PS)
i use the omega line, have for many yrs (17).........
they all are pretty much the same.......
Good Luck

Alright i installed the Commando Central Door Locks, they work great except if i try to lock the passenger door from the drivers door with the *KEY* from the outside it doesnt work.  put it works if i press down on the lock rod on the drivers door inside the cab.  One more question should i set the actulators when the Lock Cylinder is in the Lock or Unlock position?  And there were 2 wires from the Module for a Alarm Trigger  Brown and White.  When the doors are locked Brown Shows 12 volts and White 0 Volts.  When the Doors are Unlocked the Brown Shows 0 Volts and the White Shows 12 Volts.  I am getting Viper 660 VX Alarm installed soon am i gogin to need any kind of Adapter from DEI to make the locks work properly with the Viper System.
