I'm guessing you hooked up the tach wire and the tach signal was learned?

Well if it worked then, why would it not work now?
You probably need to re-learn tach. Or test your connections to make sure they are receiving the same input signal with the key before/after crank and when the remote start is activating.

When a Nissan vehicle won't remote start in the cold the 2nd starter wire is always the first thing to check.  If the 2nd starter relay is hooked up correctly then the tach signal should be verified.

It only happens when it is cold and set overnight, I am just wondering if the relay to the 2nd starter is right?

Yes, if you hooked it up like described it should work.  It would be easy enough to test it with a volt meter.  Did you hook up and learn tach?  it is also possible, although unlikely, that the relay failed.

I vote for no tach hooked up and or hooked up and not learned.
