I have a 2006 Honda Civic  with a Manaual transmission, Installed is a Prostart CT 3460 TW . This is the second module that has been installed.  Last year the first one crapped out so I just swapped modules.   Worked perfect for the first while but  lately, when I try to start it in the morning it kicks it self out "ready mode"  (series of  tasks needed to perfrom on a manual transmission system before you exit the vehicle )  Again seems to only happen in the morning.  The keyless entry on the remote still works so It seems to be within range. any suggestions

if its kicking out of ready mode, its most likely your door trigger into your unit is being pulsed. This could be the onboard computers just testing to make sure doors are locked. Try placing diodes inline with your door trigger wire and see if that helps.

Hello,
I am new here to this forum and from what I have seen and read...this is great work here.
I am having similar problems with a "Ready Mode". I have just installed one of these Prostart CT-3460 TW's in a 1998 Dodge Neon Sport. I can utilize all lock/unlock/program functions with all lights and sounds working. I can also get the unit to enter the "Ready Mode" (3 flashes, take out key, shut it down with the lock button), however during my testing......the unit will not try to remote start at all, even within a few seconds, after entering the ready mode. Is there a special "thing" I am missing here. I have properly bypassed the clutch, and have also tried using the green 5th relay output as a means to bypass the clutch (as this system is a positive clutch system). I have also found that the door pin is negative 12 volts when closed so I used the grey negative door input pin (maybe I have to reverse polarity here??? to be positive 12 volts).
I find it funny that the unit will enter the "Ready Mode" at all if there is something wrong in the wiring or with the unit....any help at all with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just wondering if maybe there is some bypass module needed that I am unaware of. I could not dig anything up in the manual though, or from the prostart site, or from google searching bypass modules for 1998 dodge neon.

Hello yet again....
Looks like I jumped the gun here...what i found was a break in the grey door pin line at the connector! All working good now!
Found this by checking all connections at the connectors...looks like sometimes this kind of an extreme check is needed to verify that manufacture defects are not the cause. Checking the wires hot before connection is not a guarantee.
