Installed the avital 4103 on an 97 isuzu rodeo. Install was easy enough. However I was trying to program the buttons on the remote inorder to lengthen the cranking time. The default setting is .06 milliseconds. This is not anywhere enough time. I followed the instructions in the manual and they  dont seem to be right.

I basically need help figuring out why the programming of the remote is inoperable and, I guess whether or not this has anything to due with the module not being wired up correctly.

I have the valey feature wired up using the provided toggle switch and when I activate it the car turns trys to start however but does not cran long enought to start the engine.

Anyone have any suggestions???

what do you mean not wired correctly ?   i assuming your running tachless menu 2 feature 4 is the crank time   how are you trying to change it ?    key on then key off hold the programming button till you get 2 beeps of the horn or 2 flashes of the LED the let go of the button and press and release the button 4 times then press it once more and hold the button down use the remote to toggle to what you want to change
or just run a tach wire much more reliable
If i Can't Install it    I Don't need it   Joe
